How to Make a Referral

We welcome private referrals from healthcare professionals across disciplines, including general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers, and substance misuse specialists.

To initiate a referral, please contact our admissions team through the form below. We understand that every individual’s situation is unique, that’s why our admissions team will reach out to discuss the patient’s condition in detail and determine whether our therapeutic approach is suitable for their needs.

Once this initial step is completed, the patient will undergo a clinical assessment conducted by one of our psychologists specialised in addiction. This will be followed by a medical evaluation carried out by our collaborating physician, who will also be responsible for overseeing the patient’s medical care throughout their stay, according to their specific needs.

A written referral outlining relevant medical and psychiatric history is typically required, and additional clinical input from the referring professional may be requested to ensure a smooth and informed admission process.

During the clinical and medical assessment, we carefully evaluate:

The patient’s current physical and psychological condition

The need for a medically supervised detox

Their history of substance use

The presence of any co-occurring mental health disorders

This thorough evaluation allows us to design a personalised and safe treatment plan, focused on the patient’s long-term recovery and wellbeing.

Ongoing Communication During Admission and Treatment

Prior to admission, patients receive a comprehensive information pack detailing the treatment programme, daily structure, and what to expect upon arrival.
Once admitted, we maintain ongoing communication with the referring professional, providing regular updates on the patient’s clinical progress, as well as discharge planning and continuing care recommendations from our Consultant.

To facilitate this information sharing, patients are asked to complete a consent form authorising the release of relevant clinical information to the referring practitioner.
